Liberty Hospital needed a mechanical cooling solution that would allow them to operate their towers during cold weather without using a continual drain-and-refill method.
P1 Performance Solutions Engineering designed and developed that solution, providing a winter cooling plant and utilizing York Mag Lev Chillers capable of using 40 degree condenser water.
The large amount of thermal storage allows the plant to cool the water at night to 40 degrees, which maximizes the York Mag Lev industry-leading chiller efficiency throughout the day.
