K-State Olathe Partners with P1 Service for a Better Energy Solution

OLATHE, Kan. - In February 2015, the Kansas State Olathe campus conducted an Energy Optimization Assessment with P1 Service, LLC. The assessment was a comprehensive energy audit of the heating, ventilation and air conditioning, or HVAC, system on the campus. Energy expenses were surpassing those built into the campus' operating budget after just two years of use with the HVAC system and the campus at only half occupancy. P1 Service and Kansas State Olathe used a retro-commissioning approach to evaluate the campus' HVAC system.
